A Healthy Lifestyle Is Important For People Over 50

98% of people over 50 indicate that healthy aging is very important and that it is best to start with this as early as possible. This appears from a recent market research conducted by Motivation in collaboration with Age wise. In particular, a varied and balanced diet is necessary for healthy aging. What exactly is this and how can supplements support you in this?

Varied and balanced diet

According to the elderly, a balanced and varied diet means that you do not eat too much (75%), eat three meals a day (60%) and that you consume less sugary, fat and salty foods (72%). When shopping, elderly people seem to pay particular attention to properties such as low salinity (51%), less sugar (46%), cholesterol-lowering (42%) and high-fiber (40%). Less than 10% attaches importance to organic foods.

Nutritional supplements and healthy food

Taking vitamin and nutritional supplements is not necessarily seen as part of a healthy diet (54%). The Supreme Health Council also says that with a varied diet within the guidelines of the new advice, you will get enough vitamins and minerals.
